What Data We Collect and Why
Contact Forms
When you submit a message through our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, subject, and message content. If you opt in to the newsletter checkbox, your email address will also be added to our mailing list. We use this data to respond to your inquiry and, with your consent, to send periodic updates about the series.
Cookies
When you first visit our site, a cookie consent banner allows you to choose which categories of cookies to accept. Your preference is stored in a cookie_consent cookie that lasts for 365 days. The categories are:
- Necessary cookies — Required for the site to function correctly. These are always active and cannot be disabled. They include the cookie consent preference itself.
- Analytics cookies — If you consent, we load Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies such as
_gaand_ga_*to distinguish unique users and throttle request rates. These cookies expire after up to 2 years. Server Logs

Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, and no longer than 2 years. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention settings of each analytics platform (typically 14 months for Google Analytics). Server logs are retained per our hosting provider's standard policy, typically no longer than 90 days.
Your Rights Over Your Data
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for analytics or advertising cookies at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site — the consent banner will reappear
